How to use this converter

  1. Pick the garment category you are shopping for.
  2. Choose the country or size system you already know, then the one you want to convert to.

  4. Check the body-measurement columns to confirm the fit, then copy, print or share the result.

Why sizes differ between countries

Size labels come from national fit blocks developed decades ago from different population surveys. The US and UK use garment-based numbering, most of Europe derives sizes from body measurements in centimetres, and Japan, Korea and China use their own regional standards. Because no global standard exists, matching your measurements to the chart is always more reliable than matching the label.
